  Cullen Chain of Lakes

There are three lakes that make up the Cullen chain of lakes, upper, middle and Lower.  Between these three lakes there are over 1300 acres of water to enjoy, and gets up to 48 feet deep.  The Cullen Chain of lakes like other area lakes are known for excellent recreation and fishing.  These lakes are nestled in between Nisswa and Pequot Lakes on the east side of Hwy 371.

All three lakes have excellent water clarity from 11-16 feet.  There are public accesses located on Lower Cullen and Middle Cullen.  There are a variety of fish in the Cullen Chain of lakes including bullhead, crappie, bowfin, sunfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, perch and walleye.

The Cullen Chain of lakes eventually drain into the Gull chain of lakes.  For this reason the water levels remain more consistent than many of the smaller lakes in the Brainerd Lakes area.
